The 7th Helsinki Photomedia conference explores phenomena related to photography, from the viewpoint of media theory, visual studies, artistic research and contemporary photographic practice. It participates in re-evaluating what it means to look at, and to photographically image, the world today.

Submission Guidelines
- Extended Abstract: 800-1000 words describing the research objectives, methodology, and key findings or contributions.
- Keywords: Follow the abstract with no more than 5 keywords to pinpoint the main themes of the proposal
- Biography: A brief biography (up to 100 words) of the author(s).
Format: PDF or Word Document
Naming: For Abstract, LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_TITLE. For Bio, LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME
Language: All submissions must be in English.
Originality: All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
